Cecchetti Ballet Workshop February 9th and 10th, 2008
The Midwest Committee of the Cecchetti Council of America hosted its Fall Cecchetti Ballet Workshop on February 9th and 10th, 2008 at Dance Center Evanston. All Cecchetti ballet syllabus levels, Primary through Diploma, were offered as well as character, pantomime, variations, and contemporary modern classes. A student merit scholarship audition was held for the purpose of selecting students to receive tuition money to attend our workshops next year as well as the 2008 International Cecchetti Summer School in Holland, Michigan. In addition to the classes for students, Karla Harris, our resident CCA permanent examiner, invited parents for a free informative talk titled “The How and Why of Cecchetti”.
