Midwest Committee Continues Celebration of 50th Anniversary with a Cecchetti Ballet Workshop February 3rd and 4th, 2007

The Cecchetti ballet syllabus levels – Primary through Diploma – were offered along with non-syllabus ballet classes, modern, mime, variations and “Fosse style” jazz. In addition to classes a student merit scholarship audition was held for the purpose of choosing students to receive tuition money to attend the 2007 International Cecchetti Summer School in Holland, Michigan.

The student photos below will show some students with numbers on their leotards to facilitate the adjudication process. Several studios were represented during the audition – Copland Dance Academy, Dance Center Evanston, Lake Forest Dance Academy and Northwest Ballet Academy.
